"The Korean entertainment industry is centered around music. Chinese celebrities start by training as singers in Korea. The Chinese entertainment industry, however, is centered around the movie industry. When Chinese celebrities who have trained in Korea return to China, they first wonder how to enter the movie industry. When Korean entertainment agencies aren't able to provide a way for them to enter the movie industry, the celebrity is left feeling unstable about his future.... Korean celebrities are also paid less in comparison to Chinese celebrities. Which industry would a celebrity prefer to promote in then?

Chinese celebrities are currently setting up their own personal studios once they get their name out there. The existence of the internet allows for cheaper promotion options, and the relationship between the celebrity and the agency has also weakened. Large Korean agencies, however, try to control the celebrity."

The expert suggested that in order to prevent Chinese members from leaving the groups/companies, that Korean companies give them more freedom, train them in the Chinese market, and work in cooperation with more Chinese agencies to manage their artists.

1. [+3,523, -100] It's all a ploy for them to gain popularity in Korea and then use it to make money in China. As if a movie industry advancement is relevant at all. Would the members have gotten this much popularity if they had trained in China and debuted there? ㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+3,478, -110] There's no point in listing out all of the reasons. In the end, it was all a ploy for them to make as much money as comfortably as possible.

3. [+2,931, -90] If they hated the Korean system that badly and didn't like the restrictions that came with it, then why not just debut in China where the money's better to begin with ㅋㅋㅋ They voluntarily came to Korea to become idols ㅋㅋ

4. [+385, -4] If their initial goal was to become movie actors in China, then why did they sign contracts with a Korean agency to become Korean idols?

5. [+388, -9] The reasoning doesn't make any sense ㅋ Should've debuted in China to begin with then

6. [+376, -9] What is this bullshit reasoning basically demanding that SM take in these untalented kids, train them, spruce them up, all to basically let them make more money in China?

7. [+310, -10] What other reasoning is there other than to gain popularity and use it to set up their own agency and make more money?

8. [+270, -2] Funny how this expert is basically demanding that Korea reveal its idol training system ^^ Are you nuts, as if we'd tell you guys that kind of information for free

9. [+264, -3] Why can't they just have debuted in China to begin with instead of ruining other lives with their decision like this... Do they not care about the Korean members who will be suffering as a result of their actions.

10. [+233, -4] Ridiculous that they're eventually blaming Korean society for this. If they have such a problem with Korean society, they should've debuted in China to begin with. They should've never debuted in Korea at all. They basically used the Korean system to gain an advantage in the Chinese market.

11. [+222, -6] So they're asking that the Chinese promoting in Korea be put in a system that reflects how the Chinese market runs things? As if.

12. [+161, -4] Debut, betrayal, success?!!?!
